Ben is a divorce, co-parenting and family mediator. After years working with families as a social worker, Ben fell in love with mediation after taking a training in 2009 and his mediation journey led him to establish Mediation and Family Services in 2014. He has since mediated hundreds of divorces and family disputes helping families stay in control of their decisions while saving time, money, and heartache. Ben is also a Divorce Coach for divorces following the Collaborative Law model.

In addition to mediation and collaborative law, Ben is an Instructor for William James College’s High Conflict Co-Parenting Program, trains Collaborative Problem Solving for MGH Psychiatry’s Think:Kids’ program, and is on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. Ben regularly presents workshops on mediation, divorce, advanced divorce mediation training for mediators, how therapists can support divorcing clients, and more.

Nnena Odim, Esq.

Mediator

Nnena has mediated the full range of family/domestic relations (divorce, unmarried parents, elder care, adoption, etc.) since 1997, and disputes involving employment, housing, business, consumer, academic/higher education, and more. Nnena is retired from Harvard Law School, where she was the Director and Senior Clinical Instructor of the Family/Domestic Violence Law Clinic at Harvard’s Legal Services Center.

Nnena has worked with the Harvard Mediation Program (HMP) and Harvard Program on Negotiation as trainer, and with Harvard Law School to supervise students learning mediation and negotiation. She has taught mediation at Suffolk and Boston College Law Schools, MIT, and New England School of Law. Nnena regularly speaks about a variety of topics, including self-care and mental health for students and faculty, establishing boundaries in a professional setting, race and gender, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Mediator Kristin Mirliani, Esq

Mediator Kristin Mirliani, Esq

Kristin specializes in facilitative mediation, with a focus on family mediation and estate settlement mediation. She handles all aspects of family mediation, including divorce and separation agreements, parental coordination, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, child support, financial agreements, and co-habitation agreements.

Early in her legal career, Kristin was a partner and founding member of a family law litigation firm based in New York. She decided there needed to be a better path forward for families to reach their desired goals. She believes that mediation is more conciliatory, less expensive, and ultimately, more successful in the short and long term for families. Kristin also provides mediation for estate settlements and disputes between beneficiaries of trusts and estates.
